Cambridge Health Alliance

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is a nonprofit integrated healthcare system and a Harvard-affiliated teaching hospital. It serves communities in Massachusetts, including Cambridge, Somerville, Everett, Malden, and Revere, focusing on providing care to underserved populations. Founded in 1916, CHA operates three hospital campuses—CHA Cambridge Hospital, CHA Somerville Campus, and CHA Everett Hospital—along with 15 primary care practices and health centers. CHA offers a wide range of services, including primary care, specialty care, mental health and substance use services, emergency care, and maternity care. It collaborates with local agencies and manages the Cambridge Public Health Department. As a teaching hospital, CHA supports various medical education programs and initiatives, emphasizing community health and preventive care. In 2023, CHA served nearly 140,000 patients, demonstrating its commitment to delivering high-quality care to diverse communities.
